Overview

The Development Officer is responsible for assisting in and supporting all aspects of fundraising operations at HTC, with a special focus on alumni stewardship and advancement.

 

Responsibilities

  • In coordination with the Director of Alumni Affairs, engage HTC alumni worldwide through individual outreach and broad-based touchpoints.
  • Cultivates donors through consistent, thoughtful stewardship, leading to individual solicitations, direct mail appeals, special events, and capital and legacy giving.
  • Researches alumni data and maintains the accuracy and integrity of the donor database by ensuring that all information is current and up to date.
  • Provides support to various committees and volunteers during fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Assists in scheduling meetings with prospective funders and donors.
  • Serves as an ambassador for HTC to the broader Jewish and higher education community; attend community functions and engage with donors to build successful partnerships.

 

Qualifications

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of knowledge and proven experience in nonprofit or related fields
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with donor database experience preferred
  • Desire to build external relationships and key partnerships
  • Able to represent HTC in a positive light to the broader community

Maximum Salary

USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $80,000.00/Yr.
