Overview

teaching, developing curriculum, inspiring, and promoting the professional development of teaching faculty, and performing professional service.

Responsibilities

responsibility for the coordination of the overall academic agenda and education activities in the department, including program assessment and facilities management.  Recruits, onboards, and supervises part time faculty to support instruction. Collaborates with faculty to advance departmental mission and goals. Addresses questions, complaints, grievances, and suggestions from faculty, staff, and students. Teaches classes to students.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an advanced degree in a scientific field and contribute to the teaching load of biology, chemistry, or physics, as appropriate to their skills.
